Getting Started with SiteTo.App

Welcome to SiteTo.App! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to convert your website into a fully functional mobile app for iOS and Android. Follow these instructions to get your app up and running quickly.

What is SiteTo.App?

SiteTo.App is a powerful platform that transforms your existing website into native mobile applications without requiring extensive development knowledge. Our system preserves your website's functionality while adding native mobile features and optimizing the experience for mobile users.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • An existing, responsive website
  • Admin access to your website
  • A SiteTo.App account (sign up at [siteto.app](https://siteto.app) if you haven't already)
  • Basic information about your app (name, description, etc.)

    • Step 1: Create Your Project

  • **Log in** to your SiteTo.App dashboard
  • Click on the **Create New App** button
  • Enter your **App Name** and **Website URL**
  • Choose a **Category** that best describes your app

    • 5. Click **Create Project**

    Once your project is created, our system will analyze your website and prepare it for conversion.

    Step 2: Configure Basic Settings

    App Information

  • Navigate to the **App Info** tab
  • Complete the required fields:

    • - **App Name**: How your app will appear on devices (30 characters max)

    - **App Description**: Brief explanation of your app (4000 characters max)

    - **Support Email**: For user inquiries

    - **Privacy Policy URL**: Required for app stores

    Appearance

  • Go to the **Appearance** tab
  • Upload your **App Icon** (1024×1024px PNG recommended)
  • Choose your app's **Primary Color** and **Accent Color**
  • Upload a **Splash Screen** image (2732×2732px PNG recommended)

    • Step 3: Customize Navigation

    SiteTo.App automatically detects your website's navigation, but you can customize it for a better mobile experience:

  • Go to the **Navigation** tab
  • Choose a **Navigation Style**:

    • - Tab Bar (recommended for 3-5 main sections)

    - Side Menu (good for more sections)

    - Custom Navigation

  • **Add, remove, or reorder** navigation items
  • **Customize icons** for each navigation item

    • Step 4: Add Mobile Features

    Enhance your app with native mobile capabilities:

  • Go to the **Features** tab
  • Enable the features you want:

    • - **Push Notifications**: Send updates to your users

    - **Offline Mode**: Allow certain content to work without internet

    - **Deep Linking**: Create direct links to specific app content

    - **Analytics**: Track user behavior and engagement

    - **In-App Purchases**: Monetize your app (if applicable)

    Step 5: Test Your App

    Before publishing, test your app thoroughly:

  • Go to the **Testing** tab
  • Click **Generate Test Build**
  • Once ready, **scan the QR code** with your phone or download the test build
  • Install the app on your device

    • 5. Test all functionality, including:

    - Navigation

    - Content loading

    - Forms and interactive elements

    - Enabled features (notifications, etc.)

    Step 6: Prepare for App Store Submission

    When you're satisfied with your app, prepare for submission:

  • Go to the **Publishing** tab
  • Complete the **App Store Information**:

    • - Screenshots (at least 5-8 per device type)

    - Keywords (for App Store search)

    - Age rating information

    - App store category

  • Verify your **Developer Account** connections

    • Step 7: Publish Your App

    Now you're ready to publish:

  • Click **Prepare for Submission** button
  • Review the submission checklist
  • Select target platforms (iOS, Android, or both)
  • Click **Submit to App Stores**

    • Our system will generate your app binaries and either:

  • Submit directly to the app stores (if you've authorized us)
  • Provide the files for you to submit manually

  • **Monitor the approval process** in your dashboard
